I think it's fascinating how we could predict the type of diseses we could face in the future by utilizing gene mapping technique. We all know Angelina Jolie's story about getting preventive surgey after she found the mutations in two genes, BRCA1 and BRCA2, the biggest cause of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. I would do the same thing if I were in that situation.

Or abortions will rise if parents are given the ability to map the genetic code of thier unborn baby, and they found that their unborn baby has a higher chance of developing some sort of diseses.
